Banking

School Banking day is Thursday.  Children put their bank books in a grey wallet which is brought to the front office.  The parent volunteer banking coordinator collects the wallets from the front office and processes the transactions and returns the wallets to the staff room for teachers to return to children ready for banking on the following Thursday.

Before and After School Care

Before and After school care is organised and provided by Communities@Work. Children enrolled with after school care, proceed to the hall after the school day finishes at 3.00pm. Preschool and Kindergarten students are collected by Communities @ Work staff. Before school care operates from 7.30am – until the school day begins.  After school care operates from 3.00pm – 6.00pm.  For further information and enrolment visit www.commsatwork.org or call 6293 6500.

Bike/Scooter Safety

All children riding to school need to wear a correctly fitted helmet and walk their bike once they arrive on the school grounds. Bikes are stored in the school locked bike rack. Further resources to support families with walking and riding to school can be found at http://paf.org.au/ride-or-walk-toschool/resources-for-parents/

Bonython Briefing

Short whole school briefings are held on Monday mornings from 900am for approximately 10 minutes. The school community assemble:

  • outside near Allawah - warmer months
  • inside the school hall - colder months

Briefing cover information about the week ahead and other important announcements and information for the school community. At times, briefings may be used as a time to present achievement ribbons to students. We encourage families to attend Bonython Briefings where they are available.
