School Board

The function of the School Board is to develop policies in such matters as curriculum development, management of finances and the general operation of the school. The Board consists of three parent representatives (elected from the parent body by ballot), two teacher representatives (elected from school teaching staff), the Principal and a representative of the Department. The School Board Chairperson is a position decided by election from the parent representatives. Meetings are held monthly and are open to all members of the school community.

The School Board meet regularly throughout the year to work with the school to review and establish policies and oversee the governance of the school.

The School Board determines the voluntary parental contributions each year. These contributions are used to provide resources which assist Bonython Primary to maintain quality educational programs.
