The Principal, School Board and staff welcome you and your children to Bonython Primary School. At Bonython we aim to provide a caring environment which will fulfil the needs of all children. All parents are welcome at any time to make an appointment to visit the school to talk with their children's teachers or the Principal.

The Philosophy of Bonython Primary School
The Bonython Primary School community is made up of students, staff, parents and members of the wider community who meet in an atmosphere of mutual respect, cooperation and communication.
The aims of Bonython Primary School are:
To promote the empowerment of all individuals through active involvement in school-wide activities and decision making;
To provide a secure and stimulating learning environment where students are challenged with high quality educational programs;
To develop, in students, knowledge and skills along with attitudes and values which will enable them to act as caring, responsible and confident members of a rapidly changing society;
To ensure that all students have equitable access to all aspects of school and Departmental programs and teaching services;
To promote knowledge of self, understanding and respect for others, social responsibility and harmonious peer relationships within a caring, supportive and safe environment;
To encourage students to take control of and accept responsibility for their own actions and learning, in order to reach their potential; and,
To develop strong home/school partnerships where parents' support is valued and encouraged in the belief that through this involvement there will be improved learning opportunities and quality outcomes for students.
